Personal portfolio of Claude Charles Valentin, based in South Korea, presenting their background to recruiters. No products or services are sold on this site. This notice describes the technical operation and hosting of the site.

Visitors and operation
No visitor accounts, contact form, payments, newsletter, audience analytics or advertising pixels are integrated. The server receives information required for HTTP requests, including the IP address. The application does not create visit logs; any hosting logs remain to be checked.
Public CV and private draft
The owner’s name, experience, education, skills and translations are stored in SQLite to present their background. Only the administrator can access the draft; visitors and PDFs receive the published version only. Data is retained while the owner maintains the CV, until changed or deleted. Hosting backups remain to be defined.
Administrator account and security
SQLite stores the admin username, the scrypt-hashed password and session information. The portfolio_session cookie is HttpOnly, SameSite=Strict, restricted to /api/admin and expires after 8 hours; it is Secure in HTTPS production. Signing out revokes the session. Login-attempt IP addresses are used only to prevent abuse within a 15-minute window. Expired records are purged at server startup and every minute while it runs. The account is retained for site administration until replaced or deleted by the owner.
Language preference
The portfolio.locale key stores only fr, en or ko in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to a third-party service and does not expire automatically. You can remove it by clearing the site’s browser data. No consent banner is displayed because the application has no advertising or audience-tracking tools.
External links and services
The site and PDF fonts are served by the site itself, with no third-party service. The application loads no third-party scripts or embedded content. GitHub links and LinkedIn help lead to separate sites governed by their own privacy rules. CV data is processed by the owner and by the hosting provider listed below.
Data questions and requests
You can contact the owner to request information, access, correction, deletion or restriction of processing concerning you. Applicable rights and remedies depend on the legal framework of the processing. The exact applicability of Korea’s PIPA, legal bases and any transfer safeguards must be confirmed with the hosting arrangements; this notice is not a declaration of GDPR or PIPA compliance.
